I love the rule of turds
You just earned your self a sub😂
i spend nearly 4000 euro for a broncolor para 133 and also nearly 1000 euro for a mola beauty dish that now since years not more exist to buy or to get in europe :D having the right tools feels better as to rent tools ;)
Full manual
I feel your sentiment lol I bought it around 2022 and never looked back bro. So worth it.
Thank you!
If modified to full spectrum, but you want a 720nm filter on it, will you still be able to shoot without a tripod? I’ve got the Hoya R72 filter which acts like an ND filter as well for normal cameras. I’m hoping a camera converted to full spectrum IR could be used handheld with a 720nm filter. Is that right?
Yes, depending on the amount of sunlight outside, usually no problem to shoot handheld with just an IR / uv pass filter. Excellent on hazy days.
Awesome video it was truly a jo- I mean a golden experience Keep making bangers
I’ve fallen in love with I phone photography and I use the golden spiral almost everytime. I need to familiarize myself other composition styles and hope my photos will continue to improve.
I always shoot in P mode, why make photography more difficult than it has to be...Julian
you didnt lie on the friend being a nerd for sure
It's Cool
Okay, Loren, show us on the doll where UV hurt you.
Bro, thank you!
I wish full spectrum was the standard/default, and all lenses just came with a UV/IR filter to make it look "normal". Instead, if I want one...I have to pay to get an already expensive device modded and warranty-voided.
High quality video? Where on youtube is any quality gopro footage, outside of maybe the gopro channel with high amounts of edits. Gopro is so blurry and washed out. The improved version in this videobis still so bad. Not the fault of this channel. Its the gopro. Like looking through a muddy windshield. I have a hero 10 . These things are like 640 x 480 from 25 years ago. Not even close to 1080. Pause in the video and look at the blur and washed out dull colors. Why cant gopro even match a 20 year old cell phone camera??
Martin Parr shoots in "P" mode. I don't think he lacks creativity.
Really good explanation of basics of exposure and also giving advice on how to use user/overexposure 👍👍👍👍

Why does UV photography sucks? I'm interested in using it to record river streams, do you think it could it be useful?
Great explanation. Thanks from Manchester.
I want one for astrophotography, but it'd also be funny to do a UV filter, go down to the beach, and take pictures to make it look like all the people with sunscreen on are in black face
great great video dude
Thanks 💥
Amazing
i made one myself using the bottom of a soda can, drilling a hole in the domed part, and putting aluminum foil over it (and of course poking a very small hole in it). its very blurry and takes 15+ seconds to get a bright picture indoors.
Excelente video
Muito obrigado
UV photography is really useful for certain objects in nature which are invisible in the visible range, but respond in the UV. This is how bees and hummingbirds pick out certain flowers. So you get a "bee's eye" view of the world in UV. Also, talk to dermatologists about UV photography. UV reveals skin damage not normally visible. It's a little disconcerting, actually. So... Loren hasn't read David Prutschi's book on UV photography, nor tried to take photographs of various light spectra and suddenly seen previously invisible lines. It's almost magical.
Pinhole lenses have one advantage over glass lenses: they transmit all frequencies of light. Most regular lenses block UV due to their coatings, the type of glass used in their lenses, and the cement used to assemble them. Given that dedicated UV lenses are about $5000, using a pinhole really makes sense when trying to photograph in the UV or IR ranges where conventional lenses might have issues. Then you're only limited by your sensor or film.
This is not pacifically towards photography. This can also pacifically tours paintings, drawings, and sculptures.
Nice, thanks! But in photoshop how do you rotate or invert the guides please?
The cheaper rout is getting the godox sa-17 and sa-p, will do basically the same thing but in the more budget way (also all the accessories are cheaper) but of course the build quality is not as premium as this one.
Main difference is this one is a spotlight projector while the other is an optical snoot
R U drunk?
Great video! I think that extra slash of light really improves the intrigue of the shot
You should not be talking about ISO in this video at ALL! While boosting ISO you are not exposing more, you are just boosting your signal which is the same as doing it in post production! ISO does not change outcome at all! It just amplifies the signal but does not affect exposure! If you shoot two photos with iso 50 and second with iso 12000 and in post you crank photo with iso 50 brightness up you have the same outcome as iso 12000, there is no difference in look and dynamic range. So this is why in this video to change exposure so it makes sense what you are saying we should only use aperture and shutter speed!!!! Then it really matters and gives us better picture This is really important. (Ideally ISO should be lowest and you should use tripod, ISO can make your photo overexposed if signal will be to much overdriven, and then you won't be able to go down in post)
You not alone, that's cool 😎

I love the way you just talk so honestly, calm, like you're really talking to a close friend in your living room. :) You should have way more subscribers. .. I'm doing it right now .
Pinhole lenses allow you to capture images that can be submitted for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day on the last Sunday in April.
For the last few months I’ve been shooting in P mode and I find it exhilarating. I can now focus - pun intended - on the content, composition and story telling.
Finally someone explained it well
Maybe you should've gone for the amaran spotlight
I think you haven't figured out how to use it correctly. It's a game changer if used right.
Talked with Rene at church about this trip. Looking forward to seeing the whole trip. Hello from Alaska.
Good stuff, that color grading is fire btw
Great breakdown of P mode. Best I've heard. Thank you!
Ah, the bravery in ignorance, so refreshing.
Its worth it dude thats a great purchase and i approve it DETAILS ARE EVERYTHING PS: i also think the outro lighting is more natural
Ok
